Suno(2019)

Terribly Tiny Talkies has an amazing track record of producing thought-provoking short films every time. ‘Suno’, definitely is topping the list.

This 11-minute movie revolves around a couple’s experimental night in bed which leads to an injury inflicted on the wife by her husband. Sumeet Vyas and Amrita Puri fit the roles as if they were exclusively created for them. The minimal cast and a well written story are the show stoppers here.

It doesn’t give away the real message till the end which is what makes you stay all the time. Once the dots connect, we realize the problem was playing along the story all the time. Without an ounce of a drama, it attempts to reinforce the idea of ‘marzi’ in the simplest way possible.

Sumeet Vyas and Amrita Puri entice the audience.
